Upgrading our bus stops and shelters

There are more than 40 formal bus shelters in the shire and at least 60 other stops without shelters.

Many of these shelters can't be used by people with disability, the condition ranges from excellent to very poor and some do not provide enough shelter from the weather.

We are asking you to provide feedback on our bus shelters, bus stops and locations that buses may use to turn around.

The project focuses on formal Council bus shelters and stops but there are many informal stops. We are keen to hear about your experiences of using these too.

Give us your feedback

Provide your feedback in one of the following way.

  • Use the online map to tell us about a bus stop you use, would like to remove or where you would like to add a stop.
  • Complete the survey. This is an alternative to using the map and asks the same questions.
  • Get in contact with Katie Hughes, Project Engineer.

Consultation closes 19 May 2021.

Next steps

We will assess the information and develop a bus stop upgrade program and timetable.

This will be presented to Council for endorsement in June 2021.

Tell us about your bus stops and shelters

23 days

We're upgrading our bus stops and shelters.

Drop the pin on the bus stop you use (or don't use) and answer a few short questions. We have populated the map with existing bus stops.

Tip: Select the plus icon + to reveal the pins. Drag the pin to the location.

Tell us about

  • An existing bus stop or shelter you use.
  • Where you would like to add a new bus stop.
  • A bus stop that you think could be removed.
  • A location where the bus may turn around and any feedback you have about this.

Your feedback will be used to help us prioritise upgrades.

Please note, all feedback you share on the map will be public. The survey tool is provided as an alternative.
